Orthopaedic Hip Procedures
Overviews of Hip Procedures
Hip Arthroscopy
This outpatient procedure allows the physician to examine the cartilage, bones, ligaments and tendons of the hip for damage or disorders. The physician uses
a small camera, called an arthroscope, which is inserted into the hip joint.
PRP - Platelet Rich Plasma Injection
This non-surgical therapy is an injection of a concentrated mixture of the patient's own blood. PRP injections have been shown to relieve acute
and chronic pain and accelerate healing of injured tissues and joints.
