Jessica Laxton, ATC
Jessica is a state licensed and board-certified athletic trainer with 5 years of experience in the orthopedic field. Her love for sports medicine started back in high school, at Bay High School in Panama City, while playing soccer. Having sustained a couple of injuries herself during her time in high school, her athletic trainer was there for her every step of the way.

After high school, she went on to study athletic training at the University of West Florida in Pensacola where she earned her degree in Bachelor of Science. During her undergraduate studies she was working in several of the local high schools gaining a lot of exposure to different sport teams. She also had an opportunity to work alongside a physical therapist in the Andrews Institute Rehabilitation Facility. At this facility, she got the opportunity to work with NFL, Collegiate, NBA, and MLB athletes.

In 2017 she graduated from the university and started working for the Andrews Institute. For the next four years, she worked as an Outreach Athletic Trainer at South Walton High School in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

Jessica is constantly expanding her knowledge and skill set in the profession. By going from outreach to a clinical setting, has allowed her to educate and advocate for a very large population of people as a healthcare professional.
