Michael D. Gilmore, MD
Dr. Gilmore is a Board Certified Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
He has been successfully treating patients in the Panhandle area since 2000. He treats patients
of all ages from pediatric to adults. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery using the

Ken Meisner, ATC, LAT
Ken joined Panhandle Orthopaedics in September 2006 as the Head Athletic Trainer. Ken received
his Bachelors degree from Illinois State University where he was a member of the men's volleyball
team. After completing his degree in Sports Medicine, he became a member of the Illinois State
University Women's volleyball team staff for two seasons. + detailed bio
Emmylou Philmon, ATC, LAT
Emmylou is a nationally certified and Florida licensed athletic trainer who works closely with
our local high school athletes. "Emmy" was excitedly welcomed to the team in June of 2010. Emmy
received her Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training at Florida State University-where she also
pursued a Master's degree in Sports Management. + detailed bio
