Emmylou Philmon, ATC, LAT
Emmylou is a nationally certified and Florida licensed athletic trainer who works
closely with our local high school athletes. Panhandle Orhtopaedics was excited to
welcome "Emmy" to the team in June of 2010. Emmy received her Bachelor's degree in
Athletic Training at Florida State University-where she also pursued a Master's
degree in Sports Management.
While in graduate school, Emmy served as the Certified Athletic Trainer for the Seminole's Men's and Women's Swim and Dive team. In addition, she provided coverage for NCAA regional events hosted at FSU, a variety of FSU's athletic camps, and several national events for USA Diving, including the 2009 U.S. World Team Training Camp and the 2009 U.S. Summer National Diving Championship. She also accompanied the USA Junior National Team to Calgary, Canada for the 2009 Pan-American Diving Championships.
Panhandle Orthopaedics is delighted to bring Emmy's collegiate experience to the high school athletes of Florida's panhandle. She believes in providing the highest quality of patient care possible.
